Sledding in Pagosa Springs – Family Fun in the Snow!

Make the most of winter in Pagosa Springs with our snow sled rentals! Choose a half-day, full-day, or multi-day option and create your own adventure in the San Juan Mountains. Our sleds are built for speed, laughter, and family fun in the snow. You transport the sleds, and we’ll share our favorite local sledding spots so you can enjoy the thrill of gliding down snow all day long.

When & Weather

Best times / months for sledding in Pagosa (typical snow conditions). Starting Thanksgiving and going through the last week in March. Jan and Feb are the best months!

Weather considerations: safe snow depth, temperature, daylight hours. Plan to sled mid day from 10-3 or so.

What to Bring / Gear & Safety

• Recommendations: waterproof boots, gloves, helmets (especially for kids), warm layers, water and sunscreen.
• Safety tips (e.g. stay off roads, avoid trees, check hill for obstacles, sled in daylight).
• Responsible sledding (leave no trace, respect private property, clean up)

⚠️ Please Note: Sledding is not done on site. When you rent from us, you’ll take your sled to your own chosen sledding hill for the adventure. We also have recommendations for the best sledding hills in town.
